Smiles!

Those of you who know us best will not be surprised that since we no longer have to carry our lives on our backs (our van does all the work now) we have managed to fall into old habits and our wardrobes have somehow begun to rapidly multiply. While Tys remains adament that she's had 8 plaid shirts since the beginning of our trip, i am not entirely convinced. And she seems to have a hard time believing that aaaaaaall those dresses and t-shirts and those cute as shit shoes must have found their OWN way into our van. (Not to mention my panties seem to have some hardcore rabbit-like tendencies and will need a larger home soon too)

I think reality will set in the moment our compounded textiles are piled into our backpacks and onto our lazy asses... uuuh, shoulders... the thought is giving us nightmares!

We were welcomed warmly (that's a wikid sentance...) into the caravan of Gordon and Hazel last night, caretakers of a campervan park that we stayed at. The minute we pulled into the park, Gordon came up to (give us and our van a good ispection to see if we were lookin for trouble) invite us for tea. Inside their cozy caravan, we talked about Canada and their grandkids, sipped tea and nibble on thier sweet offering of buttered easter buns. Nice change from our usual eight o'clock "stare at each other in the dark van for a while and then go to sleep" routine. The people here are great, but home is where the heart is, as you may have heard.

We recently rescued our bikes from their early retirement and put them to use for oooohhhh, about the 3rd time since we got them. The trails are wikid right now and the colours are full on blazing autumn and it gives me chills. You guys are all well on to spring we hope, and all our warmest wishes are yours...

till christmas,

us
